The decision of the Constitutional Court of Poland on the supremacy of the national Constitution over the laws of the European Union raises concerns, according to a statement on the website of the European Commission (EC).

“Today’s oral presentation of the decision of the Constitutional Court of Poland raises serious concerns about the rule of law of the EU and the authority of the Court of Justice of the European Union,” the statement said.
