You say Marche and you think about manufacturing. True: in total, manufacturing employs 30% of the region’s employees (first in Italy, Confindustria 2020 data), with companies that design and manufacture “beautiful and well-made” products, with a fashionable design, symbols of Made in Italy, from exporting all over the world (45% the weight of the made in Italy sectors). But not only. Le Marche is today a space-laboratory where lively “pocket” multinationals, which focus on digital and 4.0, are projected into the future and become points of attraction for talents and investments. In between, of course, there are the crises – the financial crisis of 2009 and the pandemic of 2020 – to deal with. But it is from the virtuous examples that already exist and from the design of a new industrial policy that we can start over. The «how» to do it was at the center of the debate of the second appointment with «The Economy of Italy – The strength of enterprises», dedicated to «Resilience and innovation: the Marche model».
Among the guests: the president of the region Francesco Acquaroli, Stefano Rossetti, deputy general manager of BPER Banca, main partner of the event, Domenico Guzzini, president of Fratelli Guzzini, Enrico Loccioni, founder and president of the Loccioni group, Simone Mariani, administrator CEO of the Sabelli group, Fabiana Scavolini, CEO of Scavolini, and Roberto Selci, CEO of the Biesse group. Gian Luca Gregori, rector of the Marche Polytechnic University, intervened from the world of universities, strategic in innovation and in relations with businesses. Space then for the BPER “Resilience and innovation” award for excellent SMEs in the area, with Giuliano Lugli, head of the regional management of BPER’s Marche, Diego Mingarelli, general manager of Diasen, Claudio Tonti, founder and head of the digital strategy of Websolute, Stefano Marconi, CEO of Rays.
