The Eilat-Eilot Rescue Unit of the Israel Police, together with IDF soldiers, rescued a woman in her 50s from the Eilat Mountains who was walking along the path that connects Har Barach to the Timna Valley and broke her ankle.
Volunteers from the unit were called in to be rescued by reinforcements of IDF soldiers, who are on a mission in the Eilat sector.
On a walking tour, the rescuers managed to locate the hiker and provided her with primary medical care on the spot.

The woman was rescued from the depths of the area using a dedicated stretcher, in a journey that lasted about two kilometers to the unit’s rescue vehicle, through which she was evacuated to Yoseftal Hospital for medical treatment.
