Olaf Scholz, the German Chancellor-elect from the Social Democratic Party, opposed the introduction of a lockdown in the country. The newspaper Bild writes about it.
According to Scholz, the introduction of a full-scale lockdown is not necessary, despite the significant increase in cases of COVID-19 in Germany.
Meanwhile, the future chancellor believes that in Germany it is necessary to limit the holding of public events, including sports events and concerts, including those for the vaccinated.
At the same time, Angela Merkel, who is completing her work as Chancellor, actively supports the introduction of general isolation of the inhabitants of Germany.
