Umm al-Quwain: A three-day weekend holiday has been announced for government employees in Umm al-Quwain during Ramadan. This was stated in a statement issued by the authorities regarding the official working hours of Ramadan.

The decision was made on the advice of Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, a member of the Supreme Council and the ruler of Umm al-Quwain. Employees are advised to work from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the weekend holidays for government employees in the emirate.
