Vinci Airport operates 70 airports in 13 different countries. The company, for example, manages all the airports in Portugal where the recovery in traffic has been very strong. A shared observation also at London Gatwick airport or the French airports of Lyon, Nantes and Toulon, of which it is the operator.

The leading private operator notes a very strong recovery in traffic: +76% in passenger traffic compared to last year at the same time. “The craze has been very strong for travel this summer”, notes Nicolas Notebaert, president of Vinci Airport, eco guest of franceinfo, Thursday, September 15.
In some airports, the level is even higher than that of two years ago, before the Covid-19, he continues: Costa Rica or the Dominican Republic. A recovery marked more by leisure than business travel. “There is a human need for travel, vacations and indeed this summer has been very good”, concludes Nicolas Notebaert, Chairman of Vinci Airport.
