Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said in a meeting on prevention of drug movement that drugs should be prevented from entering Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu government is making serious efforts to completely eradicate the movement and use of drugs in Tamil Nadu. However, the sale of drugs continues. Following this, a meeting of all District Collectors and Superintendents of Police was held under the leadership of Chief Minister M.K.Stalin at Kalaiwanar Arena in Chennai regarding controlling the movement of narcotics. In this meeting, Chief Secretary Thaoyanpu, Home Secretary Panindra Reddy Police DGP. Sailendrababu and top police officers also participated. Speaking on this, M.K.Stalin said that drugs are a huge threat to the future of the young society. The nation and its people know that the path of addiction is the path of destruction.

Those who use it accidentally or by mistake become completely addicted to it and become totally immersed in it. It destroys their thinking. Stunts growth. But day by day the use of drugs is increasing. So far we have held a meeting regarding law and order. Now for the first time we are meeting to stop the movement of drugs. Special attention should be paid to drug eradication. Traffic of narcotics should be completely curbed. Narcotics should be prevented from entering Tamil Nadu. Stop the sale. Avoid using it. We have a duty to prevent drug users from going down the path of addiction. So we need to create a drug free Tamil Nadu.
