The EVEIL Movement launches in Paris and supports the actions of the CTRI

The Republican and Citizen Movement EVEIL made its official release this Sunday, March 10, 2024 in Paris. This movement aims to unite and intends to put the skills of its members at the service of Gabon, in the context of the current political transition that the country is going through.
The Republican and Citizen Movement Awakening has clearly given its position, that of supporting and supporting the actions of the CTRI.
AWAKENING: support for the CTRI
The EVEIL movement positions itself as a platform to support the actions of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) led by the President of the Republic, Head of State, Brigadier General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.
Call for a return of the Gabonese elite
In his speech for the occasion, the general coordinator of the movement, Cyrille Ona, appealed to the authorities to create favorable conditions for a return to the country for the expatriate Gabonese elite. He stressed that the vast majority of this elite received assistance from the Gabonese state for training and that it is important that they put their skills at the service of the country.
Support for inclusive national dialogue
The participants in the official release of the EVEIL movement unanimously validated the holding of the inclusive national dialogue organized by the Gabonese State next April. The General Coordinator recalled that this is a fantastic opportunity to rewrite a new page in the history of Gabon and to build a country worthy of envy.
Signature of the charter and memberships
The ceremony ended with a singing of the Gabonese national anthem, La Concorde, and the signing of several membership forms for the EVEIL movement.
