The event comparing the Holocaust and the “Nakba” was finally cancelled. If you want: “victory for sanity”

by time news

At the end of a conversation between Yad Vashem Chairman Danny Dayan and Goethe Institute Chairman Johannes Ebert, Ebert said that the provocative event that compares the Holocaust to the loss of the Arabs in the War of Independence, which the Arabs call “the Nakba” (the disaster) will be finally canceled, this after it has already been postponed once due to the criticisms of him.

Matan Peleg, author of the book ‘A State for Sale’ and chairman of the Am Tirat movement which led a public protest against the event, said: “Victory for sanity! We thank the thousands of Israelis who expressed their outrage at the anti-Israel incident. We pledge to continue to act to stop Germany’s foreign political subversion in Israel.”
