As Tagilcity writes, the former security forces did not prosecute the son of a deputy of the Nizhny Tagil City Duma, Igor Bazilevich, for drunk driving. He, wanting to avoid responsibility, called his father and told about the detention. Bazilevich Sr., in turn, called the police chief, with whom he had a trusting relationship, the judge said. The head called Chernov and ordered him to find out the circumstances of the detention, saying that the detainee was the son of a high-ranking official. As a result, Chernov instructed his subordinates to release Bazilevich from administrative responsibility and return the car to him.
