Former head of the Vsevolozhsk district administration, Alexander Sobolenko, was arrested in the Basmanny courtroom. The ex-head of the district is accused of embezzling 121.4 million rubles and will hold the two nearest places in the jail cell. This was reported by the press service of the Basmanny Court.
Earlier, “MK in the Leningrad region” wrote about the detention of Sobolenko. According to the investigators, the crime is connected with the decision to increase the area of gardening “Osinka” by 19.9 hectares. Under the agreement, SNT received land on lease on the condition that later some plots would be transferred to large families and other beneficiaries. However, the investment agreement was soon terminated, and the land simply went to summer residents.
The case is being investigated in Moscow under the personal control of the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, to whom residents of the Vsevolozhsky district have made their way.
