This meeting, which was attended by the president of the Royal Moroccan Taekwondo Federation, Driss Hilali, was an opportunity to shed light on the current situation which has paralyzed all sporting activities, indicated the FRMTkd in a press release published Wednesday on its website.
During the meeting, chaired by the president of the International Federation, Chungwon Choue, the emphasis was placed on the need to consider ways to allow the discipline to develop in light of this health crisis which has caused the suspension of all activities, the press release said.
The members of the Executive Committee also discussed the impact of this pandemic on the various annual financial revenues of the Federation, reported the same source.
The statement stressed that a number of points and decisions were also approved at the meeting, including the organization of the Junior World Championship in Senegal (Dakar) in 2022, the Poomsae World Championships in South Korea (Koyang) in 2022, and the Grand Prix in England (Manchester) and Singapore.
It was agreed to hold the next meeting of the International Federation on October 12 in Sofia, the Bulgarian capital.
