“My Fantastic World” highlights the artistic skills, unique talent and great sensitivity of this young artist with Down syndrome, who, through her works, reveals a unique vision of the world and the environment around her.

This exhibition, which continues until October 31, is also an opportunity for visitors to discover a vibrant universe of sensitivity and expression, while offering them a unique visual and emotional experience.

In a statement to MAP, Malak Iraqi, born in Rabat in 2013, said she was happy to present her paintings, through which she expresses herself in the most beautiful way, adding that some of her works represent her family and the love she has for them, while others represent cartoon characters.

For her part, the president of the Moroccan Association of Treasures 21 (AMT21) and mother of Malak, Nezha Iraqi, indicated that this event is part of a series of painting exhibitions entitled “The Fantastic World of Treasures”, initiated by the Al MADA Foundation, in partnership with AMT21 to promote the individual skills of young artists with Down syndrome.

Ms. Iraqi also pointed out that each of Malak’s works tells a particular story and reflects several different emotions, adding that she draws inspiration from her imaginary world, her family and her favorite cartoon characters to create her paintings.

“People with Down syndrome can excel in many areas. We just need to believe in their potential and support them so that their talents and abilities can emerge,” she stressed.

Malak Iraqi is a young, multifaceted artist who excels as a model, influencer, and most importantly, as a painter. Her early interest in art was noticed through her artistic skills, including her mastery of color theory and her ingenious use of color.
