The expert spoke about the effect of antibodies after Omicron on Delta

The head of the scientific center for molecular genetic research DNKOM Andrey Isaev said that the antibodies developed after the transfer of Omicron poorly protect against Delta.

This is evidenced by the results of the study referred to by Isaev. At the same time, he recalled that in the reverse order, the process works better: antibodies from Delta can protect against Omicron.

The expert is confident that the results of the study confirm that Omicron is not the last strain of coronavirus and is not a harbinger of the end of the pandemic.
