After eleven years absent from the stage, the well-known band RBD got back together this Saturday in a two-hour virtual concert that quickly became the live stream best seller in 2020 in the Hispanic market, according to the newspaper Los Angeles Times.

The popular group performed only with Anahí, Maite Perroni, Christian Chávez and Christopher Von Uckermann, while the public missed Alfonso Herrera and Dulce María, who did not sing with their companions for personal reasons.

“First the six of us were seeing what it could be like, but then Poncho decided not to participate and Dulce María wanted us to do it next year. We would have loved that unique night, but it is also very valid not to want to participate,” Anahí commented on the “Hoy” program when referring to the absence of two of the band members.

However, Maite, Christian, Christopher and Anahí remembered them with the song “Don’t stop” and behind the screen – followers say – feelings were fueled.

In most countries, tickets were sold out and fans of the popular group experienced a mixture of nostalgia and joy, after once again enjoying an RBD that marked the youth of many people around the world.

“I was happy with this return,” wrote a user on Twitter, a social network in which the hashtag #SerOSarar2020 became a trend.

In the virtual concert, RBD performed songs such as “Just stay silent”, “Sálvame”, “Este corazón” and “Rebelde”, among other songs that made the group popular around 2004.
