Israel’s Use of “Dumb” Bombs in Gaza Revealed in Shocking New Intelligence

Details about the weapons Israel has been using in its airstrikes in Gaza have recently come to light, and the new information is shocking. According to new intelligence, nearly half of the explosives Israel dropped in Gaza were unguided “dumb” bombs, a staggering statistic. This equates to thousands of devastating strikes.

The assessment by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence revealed that approximately 40-45% of the 29,000 air-to-ground munitions used in Gaza were unguided, while the remainder were precision-guided weapons. This means that Israel used upwards of over 13,000 unguided “dumb” bombs in its strikes in Gaza.

In the wake of the 10/7 Hamas terror attacks in October, the Gaza Strip has been subjected to continuous Israeli airstrikes, leading to thousands of civilian casualties. The extensive destruction caused by Israel’s ongoing airstrikes and ground assaults in Gaza has raised concerns about the impact on civilians and the blurring line between what is considered acceptable collateral damage and what is necessary for the fight against Hamas.

Even President Joe Biden expressed concern, warning that Israel is “starting to lose support by the indiscriminate bombing that takes place.” This was a stark shift from the earlier unconditional and unwavering support for Israel.

The use of unguided munitions by the IDF has caused massive damage in areas outside of target zones. Additionally, the use of massive, 2,000-pound Smart, Precise Impact, Cost Effective (SPICE) bombs, which can cause extensive damage, has raised further concerns.

Despite growing international pressure for a ceasefire and controversial accusations, Israeli officials have continued to signal that the war has no end in sight. Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant recently stated, “We do not have the legitimacy to stop,” and emphasized the goal of winning against Hamas.

The revelation of Israel’s extensive use of unguided “dumb” bombs in its airstrikes in Gaza has sparked international concern and calls for greater accountability in the ongoing conflict.
