While the amending finance bill was definitively adopted overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, Gabriel Attal, the Minister Delegate for Public Accounts returned in an interview with Le Figaro on the debates which animated the hemicycle, at the time of vote for this text. “The National Assembly must be the beating heart of democracy. This text is illustrative of the new method. We have found in Parliament a series of major compromises with other political groups that are not part of the majority,” said the principal concerned.
Before sending a (big) spade to the deputies of France Insoumise and the National Rally who are very often heard in the hemicycle: “We saw it last night, while the Insoumis deputies belched and the RN deputies left the Hemicycle at the time of the vote, the extremes bark but the compromise passes, ”launched Gabriel Attal. It is no longer rare to see elected officials interrupted during their speech, some slamming their desks, others not hesitating to shout to destabilize.
Immediate reaction from LFI
The pill did not go over to La France Insoumise, which quickly condemned the words of the Minister Delegate for Public Accounts. Alexis Corbière, LFI deputy for Seine-Saint-Denis, went there with his reaction on Twitter: “This gentleman, a government spokesperson for a time, therefore compares us to dogs!! These insults are intolerable and exude the most rancid anti-parliamentarianism, and this contemptuous minister would do better to close the loopholes… tax ”, he replied, referring to the measures to fight against tax evasion proposed by the parliamentarians of Nupes.
Raquel Garrido, MP for the 5th constituency of Seine-Saint-Denis, joined her chamber companion on her social networks: “A minister treats parliamentarians like dogs. Who will be indignant? she wondered.
