The family of Libyan citizen Mohamed Dakhil Al-Senussi, who is being held in Saudi Arabia, appealed to the Libyan authorities to intervene to release him.

Earlier, Hajj and Umrah companies in Libya and families of citizens issued ((Imhamed Al-Sanousi, Mahmoud Al-Mazoughi and Saleh Al-Warfali) issued a statement calling on everyone to show solidarity with them and demand the release of their sons who have been detained by the Saudi authorities for more than 6 months on charges related to a money transfer to pay for hotel reservations for Hajj and Umrah companies.

The statement indicated that all Umrah companies in Libya are accustomed to following up and paying their financial obligations with the same steps and the same method throughout their dealings with their partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the parallel market.

The statement called on the Libyan state and all its judicial and legal institutions to urgently intervene and communicate with the Saudi authorities to find urgent solutions that guarantee their safe return to Libya.
