(Web Desk) Sachin Priyar, a young singer from Nepal, died at the age of 15.
Singer Sachin Priyar, who gained immense popularity with his song ‘Otha Kholra’, 15-year-old Sachin died on the morning of January 2 at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, according to hospital sources.
In a statement released on Thursday, the hospital confirmed that Sachin Priyar had been receiving treatment there for over five years for various health issues.
Sachin was diagnosed with Congenital Tricuspid Ventricular Cyst and underwent neurosurgery to treat the condition and was also diabetic which required daily medication.
Sachin Priyar was admitted to the hospital on December 28 with high fever, seizures and fainting. Complications such as malformation appeared.
Despite intensive care, ventilator support, antibiotics and blood transfusions in the pediatric ICU, Sachin’s condition deteriorated.
On the fifth day of hospitalization, severe pulmonary hemorrhage led to hypoxia and subsequent cardiac arrest.
Sachin Priyar has performed his voice and acting in several important projects including the song “Baar Ko Chanle” featuring singers Kamala Ghimire, Karuna Rai, and Govinda Paudal along with Rajesh Himal.
Sachin Priyar’s shot to fame is the song “Utha Kholra”, the music video of which clearly showcases both his singing and acting skills. The video had over 19 million views on YouTube as of January 2.
