“The fastest graphics card in the world”

Nvidia has officially announced the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, “the fastest graphics card in the world” it claims. The best leading manufacturers will market versions of the RTX 3090 Ti starting today, including Asus, Gigabyte and MSI. Nvidia itself will also market a “limited edition” in-house production, which will be sold in select stores in the United States.

The RTX 3090 Ti stretches to the limit the performance of the graphics processor (GPU), with 24 GB of GDDR6X working memory, with a total bandwidth of 1008 GB per second (about 7.7 percent more than the RTX 3090).

The clock speeds between 1560 MHz and 1860 MHz, with a performance of 40 ter-flops. In terms of gaming, Nvidia claims an average improvement of up to 64 percent compared to the RTX 2080 Ti, and nine percent more than the RTX 3090.

Beyond games, however, Nvidia is targeting its most expensive and advanced card for professionals in need of extreme performance for video editing tasks, 3D graphics creation, or even scientists in need of a particularly fast system for mathematical calculations. This is definitely not an energy-efficient card, and it requires a power supply with a power of at least 850 watts when the card itself draws about 450 watts on average.

The starting price of the ticket is $ 1,999. In the US it will be available for purchase today.
