At the moment, no one has been arrested in the case of the 17-year-old boy from Montana who died yesterday, the spokesperson of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Montana, prosecutor Lili Ilieva, told journalists.
She pointed out that the accusation will be specified after further examinations and experts’ conclusions and that for now the court will not ask for permanent detention.
In the case, pre-trial proceedings for murder under Article 115 of the Criminal Code have been initiated, the circumstances surrounding the family scandal in which father and son exchanged blows are being clarified, prosecutor Ilieva said.
Around 3:00 a.m. yesterday in the home of a family in the Roma district of Montana “Kosharnik” there was a scandal between father and son, which turned into a fight between them. The father DB, who is 36 years old, took a wooden stake and hit his son GT with it. at 17 years old. He fell and lost consciousness, and the father took him to the Montana Emergency Medical Center. Prosecutor Ilieva stated that all necessary urgent procedural-investigative actions were carried out in the case and indirect witnesses were questioned. She specified that there were no direct witnesses and that the father and son were alone in the room at the time of the incident. The conclusion of the medical examination is that the cause of death was aspiration of stomach contents, but it is still being clarified whether this was a consequence of the blow with a wooden stake.
