For the ninth time, the FCK fan club Kuhnhöfen/Arnshöfen is donating the proceeds from the betting game to the Hospice St. Thomas in Dernbach. This facility alone raised 1,600 euros. But other good things are also supported.

Kuhnhofen. For the ninth time this year, members of the FCK fan club Kuhnhöfen/Arnshöfen presented a donation of 1,600 euros from the proceeds of the annual prediction game for the Bundesliga table to the Sankt Thomas Hospice in Dernbach. This increases the amount of support to this institution to a total of 15,600 euros.

135 participants received their prizes at an award ceremony in the community center in Kuhnhöfen. “Many winners waived the payment of all or part of their monetary winnings and donated the amounts to the facility. The donation sum of 1,100 euros, which was actually directly guaranteed by the large number of participants, was increased to 1,600 euros with these funds.” , says Gerhard Hehl, the chairman of the fan club and at the same time the organizer of the game.

Thanks are due to all the players who are there year after year and who, through their participation, make it possible to achieve such donations, which are essential for the survival of this institution.
Eva-Maria Hebgen, the head of the hospice in Dernbach, was once again surprised at so much willingness to help and support and thanked her for the donations over the years.

The very popular betting game celebrated its 30th anniversary this year
The popularity was particularly evident in the record number of 540 participants who dared to correctly predict the Bundesliga table in the past 2022/2023 football season. If you look at the results of the previous years of the betting game, you get data that prove the “good cause” behind this campaign by the FCK fan club Kuhnhöfen/Arnshöfen. A total of around 10,500 players have participated in the betting predictions over the past 30 years. In addition to the hospice in Dernbach, the children’s cancer ward in Koblenz, the flood victims on the Ahr, children in Tanzania and sick children in the area, to name just a few, received financial support from these tip events. The total donation amounted to around 30,000 euros.

The FAN Club Kuhnhöfen/Arnshöfen is also present with its social commitment at this year’s garden show in Kaiserslautern, which is open until October.
