The amount of the tender is 53,000 euros and the execution period is ten months
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, FGC, has put out to tender the drafting of a study to evaluate the viability of building a second station or halt on line S1 in Rubí.

The drafting of the study, which has an execution period of ten months and a tender amount of 53,000 euros, will analyze the improvement of public transport coverage in the central and northern part of the municipality of Rub. In this analysis, the technical and functional feasibility of a new second station will be assessed, which will be located in the La Llana industrial estate or more north of the city.
For each of the options, the document will make a proposal for services based on supply and demand. Likewise, the necessary solutions will have to be considered to provide connectivity to the new station by car, on foot and by bicycle with a new viaduct that crosses the Riera de Rub. The document will also include the characterization of mobility in the Rub area, a summary of the different studies carried out to date, the identification of alternative scenarios and the impact on demand.
