The Federal Tax Service of Russia (FTS) has begun “pilot industrial operation” of an information system designed to ensure the transfer of data from online cash registers to other departments. This was stated in an interview with RBC by the head of the Federal Tax Service Daniil Yegorov.
“We realized we had an incredible value asset in the form of all sorts of data. And we structured them, systematized them, depersonalized them where necessary, given that we are burdened with tax secrets. And they were prepared for various kinds of supplies, ”explained the head of the Federal Tax Service.
One of the recipients of the data will be Rosstat, which will be able to use them for a more correct calculation of inflation. In addition, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Education and Science and the authorities of a number of regions participated in the pilot project and in the development of the system. According to Egorov, special “personal data consumer accounts” will be created for the project participants, through which they will be able to choose both the type of information they need and the channel for obtaining it.
“At the start, depersonalized and aggregated data on all types of taxpayers and tax regimes will be provided: FL / IE / LE, KKT, self-employed, USN, VAT, income tax, transport tax, data from declarations 2-NDFL, 3-NDFL – more 45 datasets. Users will see the intensity of real spending in different parts of the country, the distribution of cash registers, indicators for the tax on professional income, “Egorov explained.
