The festival took place in BakuCulture of West Azerbaijan“, organized by the West Azerbaijan Community, NGO İRƏLİ, International Mugham Center, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts with the financial support of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, Day.Az reports.
During the two-day festival, various events were held, including those dedicated to the role of youth in promoting the history and heritage of Western Azerbaijan.
On the final evening, historical photographs and pictorial compositions associated with Western Azerbaijan, as well as various culinary samples related to this region, were presented. The speakers highly appreciated the activity of the youth and awarded their representatives.
The literary and artistic program with the participation of the Azerbaijan State Wind Instruments Orchestra and the Folk Instruments Ensemble of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts featured works by Azerbaijani classics, dances, folk songs, mugham and ashug melodies characteristic of Western Azerbaijan.
The festival was organized to familiarize young people with the history, culture and geography of Western Azerbaijan.
