An emotional film about finding oneself in the adult world, “Baby,” starring young movie star Maria Matsel and famous actress Victoria Isakova, will be released on big screens in Russia on February 1, scriptwriter Nargiz Bagirzadeh told Day.Az.

In 2021, the script for the film “Baby,” written by Nargiz Bagirzade, won financial support from the Russian Ministry of Culture. The director of the film is Irina Bas.

The plot centers on the story of Dasha and her mother, who abandoned her as a child. Dasha was raised by his father. After graduating from school, she runs away from him to St. Petersburg to see her mother and find answers to the main questions that torment her – “why did my mother leave me?”, “What’s wrong with me?” But can her mother answer these questions? Together with Dasha, the viewer will live through this emotional and sensual stage of life.

The film was created by the Lenfilm film studio, co-produced by the START online cinema. The film is released by the film company Kino.Art.Pro. Also starring in the film are Alexey Rozin, Alexey Fadeev, Stepan Belozerov.

Nargiz Bagirzadeh is from Baku. She is a graduate of Western Caspian University, VGIKA (specialty – film playwright, workshop of Rustam Ibragimbekov) and the Academy of Media Industry (course of Gennady Ostrovsky).
