Dubai – Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan in the ‘final before the final’ in the Asia Cup. Sri Lanka’s five-wicket victory over Pakistan saw this year’s finalists go head-to-head in the final match of the Asia Cup Super Four. For Sri Lanka, who were down 1-1, 2-2, 29-3 at one stage, Nissanka and Rajapaksa, who completed a half-century partnership for the fourth wicket, laid the foundation for the victory.
