The first short-term evaluation meeting of the final report and action plan of the “Elderly Rights Workshop” held on January 12-13 under the auspices of the Presidency and under the leadership of Sibel Tatar, wife of President Ersin Tatar, was held.

According to the written statement made by the Presidency, the meeting held yesterday at the Presidency was attended by President’s Social Services and Social Policies Advisor Aydan Başkurt, President’s Child Family Committee Member Assoc. Dr. Süheyla Üçışık Erbilen, experts from the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Health, and the Social Services Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security attended and shared information about the work they initiated according to the results of the action plan.

Sibel Tatar, who attended the opening of the meeting and made a speech, said that they will follow the work carried out to achieve the aim of the Elderly Rights Workshop.

Sibel Tatar pointed out that the evaluation meeting held after the workshop final report and action plan was announced to determine the stage of the work carried out by the relevant institutions was important and stated that they, as the Presidency, were ready to provide all kinds of support to the relevant institutions in their work to realize the goals in the action plan.

Sibel Tatar thanked the institution representatives and Presidential advisors for their work.
