The Finnish company Sako, a small arms manufacturer, announced that it won the tender of the Finnish Ministry of Defense to supply sniper rifles made by it to the Finnish army worth 11 million euros.
As part of this agreement, the company will supply the Finnish army with Sako TRG M10 rifles, spare parts and sniper equipment. According to the manufacturing company, this sniper rifle can hit targets at a distance exceeding 1,400 meters using 8.6×70 mm caliber ammunition.
It should be noted that the Sako TRG M10 sniper rifle is already in use by the Canadian and Polish armies.
