The first child was born in the village of Sus in the Lachin region, which was restored after liberation from occupation.
As reported by Day.Az on Wednesday, the baby’s parents, Anar and Lamia Yolchulu, returned to their native land in May of this year and settled permanently in a private house provided to them. Both of them are from families of internally displaced persons.
“We are from families that have experienced the hardships of forced displacement. But we are always surrounded by the attention and care of our state, President Ilham Aliyev, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. With the liberation of our lands from occupation, a new period in our lives began. On the instructions of the head of state, we, as a young family, were provided with a house in the village of Sus. We returned to our native land with a deep sense of gratitude, with great hopes. We are sure that our family now has only good days ahead,” said Anar Yolchulu, who, together with his brother, participated in the battles for the liberation of the lands of the Motherland from occupation in the 44-day Patriotic War.
His father Nusrat is a veteran of the First Karabakh War.
