The first crematorium for Hindus will be built in the Buckinghamshire area of south-east England. A request was made to the British Government by the Anupam Mission, a charity organization, by Hindus living in Britain to have a separate crematorium for Hindus as there is for other religions in Britain. While this request has not been accepted for a long time, the UK Project Analyst’s Office has now given permission for the crematorium to be built.
The crematorium will be located on 15 acres near the Swami Narayanan Temple in Buckinghamshire. The crematorium will be set up with separate areas for each ritual such as cremation and cremation. The funeral will be attended by about 500 people.
