The young Athanasiou and Soulis, who played games until Tsintotas arrived, will definitely remain under the goalposts, while they are looking for Tsintotas’ replacement who already left PAS with the end of the partnership. In the defensive line, the remaining players are Eramouspe (perhaps the best player of the season), Pantelakis, Soria, while Kiakos is expected to get a second chance, as there is a gap at the left end of the defense after the transfer of Pelios to AEK. Kiakos due to the accumulated injuries did not help the team, but he will be given a second chance, since he has two more years of contract. In the center among the remaining ones are Karahalios, Gino, Pamlidis, Liassos, Alexandros Lolis, Rienstra and in the attack, Rosero, Leo, maybe Balan and Conte with whom the renewal of the partnership was agreed. Among the young players, those from the Tsiris, Vrakas, Kyrkos youth teams will remain, while the loanees Mina (Werder Bremen youth team), Rizos (Thesprotos Igoumenitsa) will also be added. Mina went on trial to Werder Bremen with the aim of the German team buying his rights, but they will probably not proceed with his acquisition and the young forward will continue at PAS Ioannina. It may be suggested to some that they also go on loan. Tsavos, Fofana, Bakadimas, Moustakas will be re-evaluated. The 18-year-old midfielder Nikos Lolis, for whom Olympiacos showed interest, is also in the squad. If the transfer does not take place, it will be among the remaining ones. Thodoris Tripotseris was born in Athens on March 4, 1986, i.e. he is 37 years old and had a career as a central defender. He started from the academies of Panathinaikos in 2004 and then in several Greek teams such as Levadeiakos, Larissa, Doxa Dramas, Kavala, OFI, Kalamata, Ialyssos Rhodes, while he ended his football career playing for Aspropyrgos. As soon as he hung up his football boots, he immediately got involved in coaching, got a UEFA A diploma, while he already has experience in development departments and amateur teams. In 2021, he joined the academies of AEK and until recently was a coach in the K 15 team of the New Philadelphia team.
For the position of Plavoukos, there was a first conversation with the team’s old goalkeeper Thodoris Gitkos to take over as goalkeeping coach, but without further developments. The general meeting of shareholders took place last Saturday at the offices of PAS Ioannina in PEAKI, where additional elections were held to fill the vacancy of the deceased president Giorgos Christovasilis. The two brothers and major shareholders of the company attended the general assembly, where, in addition to the formal procedures, they had the opportunity to see up close their partners as well as the works that will be done in the training center and the locker rooms. On the occasion of the general assembly, they had a special meeting with the president of the Amateur PAS, George Oikonomou, for the harmonious cooperation of the two sides. As is known, by law and by the founding act of professional football, amateur teams always own 10% of the share capital of PAE ex officio. The new major shareholders also collaborated with the new manager of the football department Dimitris Niarchakos, the marketing manager Kostas Pediaditakis and the security manager Fonda Vrosgos.
THE WORKS BEGIN IN PEAKI
As soon as the weather improves, the stadium where PAS Ioannina practices at PEAKI will be completely renovated. The materials have already been moved to the site and the installation of the contractor remains as soon as the weather permits.
