The First Lady cultivates rice in her field in Gifurwe hill in Mpanda, Bujumbura

Bujumbura (Bubanza, Mpanda Commune), 24/04/2023 – In line with the socio-economic policy of Burundi, the First Lady, HE Ndayubaha Angeline, happily participated in harvesting hybrid rice in his field at Gifurwe hill, Musenyi area, alongside local farmers. With an area of 7 hectares, the expected harvest is 50 tons of rice. This initiative aims to demonstrate the importance of agricultural production for all Burundians, by increasing production to ensure food security and economic prosperity, in accordance with the principles of a responsible and hardworking state.
