Until last Thursday, Renfe had sold more than 10,800 tickets for the new service Hello between Madrid Chamartín Clara Campoamor and Murciasince the tickets went on sale on November 27, according to sources from the railway company in a statement.
The connection between Madrid and Murcia gets underway this Sunday, date on which it will become the first low-cost high-speed service on this line. The service will have two daily circulations, one in each direction, between both cities, which means an offer of 5,000 places per week.
The train will have stop at intermediate stations from Orihuela Miguel Hernández, Elx AV, Alicante, Villena AV, Albacete Los Llanos and Cuenca Fernando Zóbel. The departure time from Murcia station will occur daily at 10:32 a.m. In the opposite direction, the departure from Madrid-Chamartín will be at 6:15 am. The price of the tickets will be from 7 euros.
With the new programmingthe number of high-speed trains between Murcia and Madrid is increased, which will increase to ten trains per day, five per direction, instead of the four per day per direction that currently circulate.
