The fishermen released in Sri Lanka came to Rameswaram

Rameswaram:- 6 Rameswaram fishermen who were released from the Sri Lankan jail arrived in Chennai by plane and returned home in a van.
On August 27, Sri Lankan Navy captured a fishing boat from Rameswaram. The fishermen in the boat arrested 6 people namely Nishant, Andy, Karunanidhi, Ulaganathan, Soosai Viakulam and Sesu and imprisoned them in Vavuniya jail.

After they were released by the Mannar court on September 12, the police kept them in a camp near Colombo. After 30 days, the fishermen, who took off from Colombo yesterday morning by plane, arrived in Chennai at 10:00 am. They were welcomed by Rameswaram Fisheries Officers and brought to town last night by a van.
