Time.news – The 45-year-old who was infected in India where he went with his wife for an adoption died in Florence due to the consequences of Covid. Enzo Galli, 45, died at the Careggi hospital where he was hospitalized since 8 May.

A long ordeal

At the end of April Enzo and his wife Simonetta Filippini were stranded for ten days in the Asian country together with the newly adopted little Mariam Gemma, after the woman had tested positive. Upon returning to Italy, all three were hospitalized because they were positive but their courses were different: Simonetta and her daughter quickly left Careggi and Meyer to become negativized at home, in Campi Bisenzio, while Enzo stayed for three months and a half in hospital for lung and heart complications and in early August he had had septic shock and underwent dialysis for a kidney malfunction.
