Do you have a renovation project, are you looking to furnish yourself or are you simply curious to discover the latest decorative novelties? It is this Thursday, April 27 that the 119th edition of the Foire de Paris begins, the largest show in Europe dedicated to the home. Until May 8, 400,000 visitors are expected in 100,000 m2, at the Parc des expositions, Porte de Versailles (15th century).

Individuals looking for advice and inspiration will be able to talk to professionals in the furniture, interior design and capital goods sectors. “It’s an offer that provides concrete answers to all in-house projects,” explains Steven Abajoli, director of the Foire de Paris.

Up to 50% discounts

Unlike the last edition, which was still suffering from the consequences of the Covid crisis, “the exhibitors come from all over Europe but also from Tunisia, Vietnam or even Latin America”, is satisfied with the director.

The event is an opportunity for major home brands to present their new products, but also to offer discounted prices. For example, the Bobochic Paris corduroy convertible corner sofa will cost 999 euros instead of 1,999 euros. In another register, Detoximix will exhibit several products at a special Fair price, including a heated lunchbox at 20 euros instead of 40 euros.

Entertainment for young and old

Visitors will be able to discuss their projects free of charge for thirty minutes with an architect, a landscaper or a decorator, and workshops will be led every day by experts to familiarize themselves with DIY. From plumbing to electricity, individuals will be able to learn how to carry out small daily tasks themselves.

As part of the school holidays, other activities have been set up for families. Within the sports village, dozens of federations will be present to introduce visitors to their discipline. Children will be able to take a little pony ride or do their first climbing.

Finally, the show will host the famous Lépine competition, on Sunday May 7, in pavilion 1. The opportunity to discover the creations of 400 inventors, before the award ceremony.
