TDespite the unpleasant weather conditions, not only many “fools” followed the invitation of the Etsdorf carnival guild.
Last Carnival Sunday, the 26th Carnival parade of the Etsdorf Carnival Guild took place in Etsdorf. A total of 19 groups from clubs, traders and carnival fools paraded through the town.

Despite the unpleasant weather conditions, not only many “fools” followed the invitation of the Etsdorf carnival guild.
The route traditionally led from the department store’s new parking lot to the market town’s town hall, then along Rathausstrasse to the pillory at the intersection with Kirchengasse.

Despite the unpleasant weather conditions, not only many “fools” followed the invitation of the Etsdorf carnival guild.
At three locations – at the elementary school, at the parish church and at the town hall – moderators led through the program and kept both the audience and participants entertained. Along the route, several clubs and restaurants provided food and catering.

There were also challenge cups for the three most original groups. First place went to “Queens” with “Company outing from the crypt” ahead of Klement with “100 Years of Disneyland” and Kreativhaar Sandra with “Mystical Creatures from the Enchanted Forest”. Donations received will be used by the carnival committee for projects in the market town of Grafenegg.
