/ Muhammad Imad, the media coordinator of the Iraqi national football team, denied on Saturday what was circulated about the Iraqi national team striker Ayman Hussein suffering from a muscle tear that will officially keep him out of the Iraqi national team in its next match against Vietnam.

Imad told Agency: “Medical examinations proved that player Ayman Hussein did not suffer a muscle tear, but rather suffered a minor bruise.”

He added, “His participation in the next match and his representation of the Iraqi team in its match against Vietnam is up to the technical staff, and he is the one who decides whether or not he participates.”

He stated, “The injury was not worrisome and was just a bruise that will heal in a short time, according to the medical diagnosis.”

Media outlets and websites announced that Ayman Hussein suffered a tear during the Iraq-Japan match, which will prevent him from playing in the Iraqi national team’s match against Vietnam next Wednesday.
