Marín did not bite her tongue when the day before, on Friday afternoon, Tamara went to the set of the program presented by Sonsoles Ónega to apologize for what had happened. The Madrid woman made “self-criticism” and explained that the “attire was explained a long time ago.” «I am very devoted to childhood cancer, for my niece (she passed away seven months ago from this disease) and many children. Also with cancer in general, because I know what the disease is, I know what immunotherapy, chemotherapy is. I know what it’s like to have no hair and I know what it’s like to be very bad. She took advantage of her intervention to apologize “if anyone has been offended” and reiterated that her intention “was always good.”
Even so, Nuria Marín criticized that “influencers capitalize on issues to grab headlines. You cannot romanticize, whitewash or idealize a disease like cancer. The last thing a cancer patient worries about is looking good, what he worries about is being cured,” she said.
