Watan Al-Youm: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, and Belgian Foreign Minister Hojjah Lahbib discussed, on Friday, developments in the situation in Gaza, and the efforts made to stop the war, ensure the protection of civilians, and adherence to the rules of international law and international humanitarian law.
During a meeting he held with Lahbib on the sidelines of the visit of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee in charge of international action to stop the war on Gaza to Oslo, Al-Safadi stressed the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities and stop the raging war on Gaza and the suffering and humanitarian catastrophe it produces. He also stressed the need to ensure the delivery of adequate and sustainable humanitarian aid to the sector.
