Giles’ remarks came after India won the series with an authentic victory in the second match of the T20 series against England. Despite the absence of crucial players in the first match, India secured an authentic victory. The same thing happened when they came back in the second match. Giles told Cricinfo that the result would not have been different without the senior players in the second match.
