The four involved in the fan stabbing are being prosecuted for felonies

Felony charges were brought against the four arrested for the bloody incident yesterday outside the Court of Appeal that resulted in a 24-year-old man being seriously injured with a knife.

Specifically, they were prosecuted for the following crimes:

• Attempted joint murder
• Illegal carrying of weapons – use of weapons
• Violation of a sports law regarding distinguished firearm possession
• Distinguished disturbance of the public peace

After the prosecution, the arrested were referred to an investigator, from where they requested and received a deadline for their apologies.
