‘Paco’ arrived at the Central Military Hospital on June 18, after having suffered injuries during an attack, receiving medical attention that allowed him to recover and continue with his mission. This noble canine is part of the “Fuerza Peluda” program, designed to provide emotional support to soldiers recovering after the attack by the National Liberation Army (ELN) in Puerto Jordán, Arauca. Currently, ‘Paco’ accompanies 16 soldiers who are in the process of rehabilitation, giving them joy and relief in times of difficulty.

At his side is ‘Kratos’, a Belgian Shepherd who also roams the hospital rooms, offering comfort to soldiers affected by the armed conflict. With their presence, both dogs have become a source of psychological relief, helping patients overcome the trauma and emotional pain caused by the attacks.
