Too creative gameplay is obviously not suitable for “Yu-Gi-Oh”. Konami announced today (28th) that “Yu-Gi-Oh! CROSS DUEL” will close its servers on September 4 this year and end its operation.

“Yu-Gi-Oh! CROSS DUEL” is a mobile game officially launched on September 6 last year, including the Chinese version. But the gameplay is quite special. The 4 players are connected with each other by cross-shaped lines. The representative monsters of Yu-Gi-Oh can be summoned to the field by using cards. The summoned monsters will move towards other players along the track, and will enter into battle and attack when encountering opponent monsters.

Konami pointed out in today’s announcement that the sale of class gold crystal props will be suspended from now on, and the “Yu☆Game☆King SEVENS” event will be launched on April 4th as planned and new cards will be launched. A new raid event and new cards will be launched on April 13th, after which it will no longer be updated, and the server will be closed on September 4th.
