A troupe from Bordeaux made its way to the final of the American telecrochet show America’s Got Talent, and could win $1 million this Tuesday.

French dancers are living the true “American dream”. Trained in Bordeaux, the Mega Unity troupe is preparing to participate in the final of the show America’s Got Talent, the overseas equivalent of La France à un Incroyable Talent, scheduled for this Tuesday evening.

Made up of 64 dancers aged 13 to 50, the Mega Unity troupe managed to seduce the tele-hook jury thanks to its synchronized choreography show, entitled Murmuration and inspired by the movement of birds.

Their ultimate goal is to win with this show, choreographed by hip hop artist Sadeck Berrabah, to try to win the million dollars for the show.

“We do a lot of competitions, the families finance a lot of money in these projects, the school and the studio as well. That would allow us to move forward together. We also have production projects, or to go on a tour in our region”, assures the troupe’s coach, Laurence Dufort, to BFMTV.

Already in the final in France

The Mega Unity troupe, however, is not completely foreign to television sets. In November 2021, Laurence Dufort’s dancers also stood out in France Has Incredible Talent, sent directly to the final thanks to a Golden Buzzer during the auditions. Since then, the troupe’s videos have regularly gone viral on social networks.

The dancers of Mega Unity are part of the Studio Attitude dance school founded in 2006 by Laurence Dufort in Bordeaux. Made up of 100 dancers, it is divided into three groups for all ages: Baby Unity (from 7 years old), Unity kids (from 11 years old) and Mega Unity (from 13 years old).
