French President Emmanuel Macron announced today, Saturday, that some 70 terrorist attacks have been thwarted in the past ten years, thanks to the work of the security services.
Macron said – while presiding over a ceremony organized on the occasion of the National Day of Commemoration of Victims of Terrorism, after he laid a wreath in honor of the victims of terrorism – “The French state is here to prevent the unimaginable from happening, and over the past ten years, about 70 attacks have been thwarted.” Thanks to the work of the security services.”
