The French team was crowned European champion by acrobatic swimming team, this Saturday, June 24 in Krakow, and offers the French delegation its first gold medal of this 3rd edition of the European Games. The sisters Charlotte and Laura Tremble, Manon Disbeaux and seven other French women scored 214 points, ahead of Ukraine (209) and Italy (202) on the podium. They had already won the bronze medal the day before in the technical team event. This year, the delegations compete in 29 different sports, including 19 Olympic disciplines, until July 2. Some events, such as artistic swimming, act as European Championships, while others provide quotas or points for the Olympic qualification ranking for the Paris 2024 Games.
