The Geieg joins the commemoration of theAny Gabriel Ferrater with the inauguration, this Wednesday in Sant Ponç, of a show so far unpublished in Girona. The exhibition, which can be seen until August 3, revolves around the life and work of the poet coinciding with the centenary of his birth. It is about Gabriel Ferrater. The opening ceremony will feature participation of the curator of the Year Gabriel Ferrater, Jordi Cornudella and the writer and columnist Josep Maria Fonalleraswho will lead a colloquium dedicated to the poet from Reus.
Conceived by Jordi Cornudella, curator of the Year Gabriel Ferrater, and designed by Jordi Romero, Gabriel Ferrater. Read all your life, consists of seven panels that are presented as an outreach tool. The exhibition, which has been produced by the Institution of Catalan Literature and the collaboration of the Library Service of the Generalitat de Catalunya, reviews the different vital and intellectual stages of the author.
With the exhibition, the Geieg recovers cultural activities in the facilities of Sant Ponç, where in October last year it was possible to discover an exhibition of ceramics by the
students of the Municipal School of Art of Girona.
