The “Geissens” return in January

The reality documentary “The Geissens” is back. The Geiss family can be seen on TV again in early January. What are the new episodes about?
Carmen (59) and Robert Geiss (60) will soon return to television screens with their daughters Shania (20) and Davina (21). From 6 January 2025 RTLzwei will broadcast new episodes of “The Geissens – A Terribly Glamorous Family” (every Monday at 8.15pm). In a statement dated December 17, the broadcaster also revealed what the new season will be about.
Raid on the Indigo Star
This time the millionaire family’s travel destinations include, as usual, Dubai and Bali, Marrakesh and Abu Dhabi, among others. In this last destination there are both positive and negative experiences. The Geiss family offers an insight into party life on the sidelines of the Formula 1 race with famous guests such as actress Xenia Seeberg (57) and tennis star Alexander Zverev (27). They also visit the yacht on which Princess Diana went on holiday with Dodi al-Fayed in 1997. But there is also a dramatic incident in Abu Dhabi: the family yacht Indigo Star is the target of a raid. Her daughter Davina also suffers from panic attacks and asks her mother for help.
From Abu Dhabi the family continues to Bali, where Chief Robert Geiss attends a healing ceremony and learns that he was said to have been a European king in a previous life. The ceremonial cleansing is primarily intended to help Davina overcome her panic attacks. Shania, however, is skeptical that the ceremony will have any effect.
In addition to big trips, life in the jet set also involves a lot of stress. “We are building in St. Tropez and Dubai. We also run 14 companies. I can’t do it anymore,” admits Carmen Geiss. The St. Tropez construction site is even larger than expected. Grandma Margret and grandfather Reinhold fear that their son may exaggerate. “It will be the worst season of all time – with a lot of drama, but we never lose our humor,” Robert Geiss nevertheless draws a positive conclusion.
